It is based on theoretical, case study and clinical approach designed to maximize the quality and efficiency of diabetic eye care and prevent blindness in diabetes. The course aims at imparting knowledge about detailed assessment of retina, diagnosis, pathogenesis and management of diabetic retinopathy. Training will also be given in glaucoma and neuro-ophthalmology evaluation in diabetic subjects. Hands on training are imparted on specialised investigations such as digital colour photography, FFA, OCT, fields.
